Let’s consider how bird flu prevention can be harmonized with the cycle of life. 3/10/2026 Let’s consider how bird flu prevention can be harmonized with the cycle of life. In Japan’s poultry industry, overcrowded cage systems have led to a forceful, symptomatic response—mass culling whenever bird flu appears. I hope people first understand the reality: chickens being placed into containers and gassed under the name of “euthanasia. ”This cycle of mass rearing → gas culling → incineration places a heavy burden on both the dignity of life and nature’s ability to receive it back. What we should aim for is a rearing environment where immunity is supported and the natural cycle remains unbroken. Rather than focusing on efficient disposal, I hope we can think together about designing systems that do not confine life. Your browser does not support viewing this document.
